The + Storied button
Reading something that belongs on a timeline? Click + Storied in your bookmarks bar and it opens here, already read and placed: the right story and events, ready to save.
As always - Privacy is a top priority. The + Storied button is just a bookmarklet and cannot see or access your browsing history or any of your other browser data. It sends only the page you click it on.
Setting it up
- Show the bookmarks bar: Chrome, Brave and EdgeCtrl/⌘ Shift B; Safari View › Show Favorites Bar; Firefox View › Toolbars › Bookmarks Toolbar.
- Drag the green + Storied button above onto the bar.
- On any article, video page or post, click it. A new tab opens with the page read and placed.
Why a button?
Pasting a link works for most pages, but some sites block us, some are behind a subscription you have, and some only show their text after JavaScript runs. Your browser already has the page, so the button sends it from there. It sends only the page you click it on, and only when you click it.
If a site stops the hand-over, the new tab says so and reads the link itself instead. PDFs are always read that way. On phones it isn't available yet.
